It has been a bit busy. . . Parental units moving. . . (not to mention all the "estate" sales we had) . . . Sick Boi. . .

It is hard to believe that at 46. . .I feel like 16. I do.

I am a teenager in LOVE!

Guess this is true confessions. When I look at her, the feelings come rushing at me. My heart flutters, she takes my breath away! This feeling is amazing. It is a wonder that we cannot bottle this feeling. I almost forgot what this felt like. Friends have told me it is so CUTE, how much I gush about her. I cant stop talking about her!

Also, want to add, that the Boi is quite smitten with her, too.

Let me introduce my new LOVE. . .Her name is Glenda, she really likes 80's British punk rock (loudly, I might add!). She likes it fast. Loves to go on long rides. . .windows down and music pumping!!

The Big "O"

Ok, so it has been a while. . . been busy, some changes, ya all know the drill. . .ok a year, a year and a quarter. . .ok. Well, I am back and I have something I need to share. . .

I HAD THE BIG "O"!!!

Right there in the middle of Goodwill! You girls understand. . .just meandering thru the local Goodwill, needed to take in a load and you just cant drop stuff off, ya gotta go in and paruse a little. You never know what you will find, right???!!!!

Well, I wandered around looking in my regular areas. Okay, so not only did I have the big "O", but I am also a Goodwill Whore. Yes, when I walk into the store, I have my route, I never vear, because I really do know where the good stuff is. . . .so there I am walking thru the office supply section. . .I see a big blue box.. . . .I walked past it a few times, but it called to me. . .As I walked up to it to check and see what was IN the box. . .I lifted from the shelf. . . WOW it is HEAVY, much bigger than I thought! . . . . .what could be in this box????

Can you believe it. Flash Cards! Yes, I hit the mother load, 782 file folder weight, no fingerprint, smudges, and smells like paper. . .Flash Cards, the first one I pull out. . .were lost. . . when I saw it, that was it. I was breathless just holding it, but when I saw, were lost, it happened right there in the middle of Goodwill, the Big One. The shopping orgasm! Yes, I know, no shame. I know that you know exactly what I am talking about, that moment when the shopping gods deem you worthy. What an experience!

So, my seceret is out, not only did I have an orgasm in Goodwill, but I am a Goodwil whore.

Love that place. Oh and while I am bearing my soul. . .I even paid FULL price for it. . . $3.99!

Wow, a month just flew by. . .

Does time just disintegrate in your hands? Time is tangible and then I look at it again, and it is gone. I could touch it, now poof! February was a fun (albeit - difficult at work!) month. I got some new direction. I can actually feel my feet firmly planted in the new direction. Sometimes, ideas come and wow, cant be any better, and yet I don't put any effort behind it. . .just thought and then it is gone, disinterested. Time to move on to the next possibility. Now I feel like I got it I am going to commit to an Etsy Shop. . .Creating is my joy, keeps me sane, keeps me grounded and keeps me busy when the Boi is gone.

Speaking of the Boi, he has had a fun month or so. In less than 6 weeks, he will be on 3 different 10 mile hikes, snowboarding for the first time, playing the bassoon in concert for the first time (he has only played it for 2 months) and now guitar lessons. I am sure I have forgot lots of other fun things he has done. And spring break is next week! Imagine what else he can do!!??

Well I will post the 2 other chandelairs I made up in the next day or so, plus some other "concotions" of mine.

Shape Up!

Ok, I Love Michelle Ward's GPP Street Team. I have lurked on her Blogs for a while now. On the Street Team Blog, she gives out a challenge and so many wonderful artist's rise to the occasion. The latest one is Shape Up! No I am not starting an exercise program. So I am finally rising to the challenge. I am going to participate for the first time. . . .my shape is . . . .the diamond shape. . . that lovely harlequin shaped diamond. I had this project in my mind for a while, I had a blank spot on my wall. . .so I must fill it.

As I started working on this project I looked around my living room and dining room and the most amazing thing happened. That shape is everywhere in my house! It is even on my favorite tea towels. WOW.

UGH, I cant find the pics on my computer, I know they are there, they are hiding somewhere.

I have not posted lately. Bad Blogger. Very busy with work and work. I must remember that with work comes time and money to create! Must remember. I have hundreds of photos to download. I will work on that in the next few days. I still need to wrap a few last minute items and work on one gift. I hope the Holidays are Joyous and Safe.

Here is another pic of my chandelier, you can see that the saucers are down so you can see the pattern. Also you can see some of the soldered charms that I made. I love them.

The hardest part of the charms is choosing what images to choose!!!

Here is my advent calendar. It has little doors with cubby holes to put in chocolate coins and notes for the holidays.

This was fun and EASY to make, they are holiday button trees.

I will get the hang of posting all the pics in one Post. I hope sooner than later, and I figure out how to put it all together. Oh well, one step at a time. !!!!

Here is a fun beeswax project that I took with Mike Putnam at Mystic Paper my FAV store! We stuck a piece of scrapbooking paper down with beeswax and then added images of my fav boi on a transparency and plexiglass. LOVE IT. It is in my entry way.

Welcome to My very first Blog Post. Lets see how this goes.

Today, after I dropped the Boi off for a 10 mile hike with his Boy Scout Troop. I high tailed it over to Mystic Paper, my FAVORITE local scrapbook store!!! I attempted to take a class with a great artist, Mike Putnam. I had to leave, the Boi was done much sooner from his hike than I anticipated! Bummer, I had to leave early before I was done. Oh well.
